Landscape and climate dynamics in the north coast of the Iberian Peninsula during the Late Quaternary, are the main targets of the study. Vegetal macro-remains recovered from Lisbon (Portugal) to Cantabria (Spain) coastal sites, provide taxonomical and climate information from the past. Palaeoforest composition is studied by wood, leaves and fruits compared morphology identification. Palaeoenvironmental conditions, in which the fossil plants developed, are mastered by fossil Quercus robur stomatal index (SI)-atmospheric CO2 study. It is supported on a previous developed SI-CO2 inference model on Q. robur herbarium material from the Iberian Peninsula.
